Consequently
If you were
to say you had considered
all the
consequences of your actions,
fully figured
just how much they impact -
living room,
coffee, paper, cold hard fact -
I doubt you'd
ever want to act again.
Why, then, do
I blame and counter-blame
when all we
do will come apart forever,
stun us with
its ramifying,
leave us
feeling better, worse, or just the same?
As if there's space for clarifying.
